A Full Cup

I have a cup-half-full outlook on life. It’s nothing I intentionally sought to adopt as a way to be. Overtime, it came as a realization that in any situation I can choose to believe better days are ahead, and I can choose to be grateful, because things can always be worse. Hope and gratitude continually fill my cup. Upon reflection, the pandemic has magnified this discovery. While the crisis is daunting, and despite its effects, I believe we will find our way forward. While the shutdown is unsettling, and despite the restrictions and shortages, I am more grateful than ever for each day and the blessings God gives. And that is my “found.” My cup isn’t half full, it is filled to overflowing.
