“So often in life things we regard as an impediment turn out to be great, good fortune.” (Ruth Bader Ginsburg, June 29, 2020). Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s statement during the past pandemic year is one many people can agree with, including me. The COVID-19 pandemic was an interesting time in that it was largely positive for some, greatly negative for others, and somewhere in between for others like myself. Over the past year, I have lost and found many things. With interests and family, I gained but with my social life, I feel like it fell short.
