I have lost the outside.

Before watching our world become contained, I never thought much about the outside. It was just there when I wanted it. Today, for the greater good, I part with exploration and long to visit new and old familiar halls of school, local museums, friends’ homes, and more. While I am happy to be in my house for the time being, I cannot wait until I can go beyond these four walls. Although this experience is strange and difficult, I hope to gain a deeper appreciation for the sands of the beach beyond my shores.
This piece represents a collection of memories from some of my favorite places. While the outside resides in this bundle of memory now, I long to expand beyond the realm of memory into a brighter future.
