Time to slow down with a consistent morning routine. I wake, drink 8 ounces of water, pray, write in my diary, read scriptures and devotion, and then a yoga session before making my husband lunch for work. After he leaves, I sit with a cup of coffee and work until 11:00 am. At 11:00am I join a 15-minute global prayer call. This prayer call, which I’ve joined since it’s inception, March 27, slows my day down reminding me that the world needs prayer. And although I am not a first responder during the COVID-19 pandemic, I stop and blanket the world with my prayers. I’ve found time to slow down, and lament the grief and losses of others. I’ve found time to slow down and remain consistent with a morning routine.
