Two things that I have lost from the lockdown were the volleyball Junior Olympics (JO’s) and being able to socialize with my friends, while something I found was that my vision had gotten a lot worse.

The coronavirus caused many businesses and schools to shut down and forced people to stay home. Before the lockdown, I could see my friends, go to in person school, and travel. Now, I am forced to stay home and cannot see my friends in person. Students at MBMS also have to stay at home and do remote learning because the schools are closed. As a sixth grader, I was excited to meet a lot of new people and new friends. I enjoyed playing volleyball and I was relatively tall since I was growing at a fast rate. Because of the lockdown, I have stopped growing as fast I used to, and my volleyball teammates are surpassing me in height. Two things that I have lost from the lockdown were the volleyball Junior Olympics (JO’s) and being able to socialize with my friends, while something I found was that my vision had gotten a lot worse.
