What I gained during quarantine is strength. Before the Coronavirus, I could do no more than 2 pullups. I realized this flaw and decided to work little by little on pullups every single day until I could do at least 15 in a row. It only took me a few months to reach my goal and I proved to myself that I could do anything when I put my mind to it. When my rock climbing gym opened back up I felt better than ever and excelled at a rapid pace in terms of skill. Now back to the present day, I have almost doubled the max climbing grades I can accomplish and almost tripled the number of strength exercises like push-ups or pull-ups I can do. Being strong helped build my confidence and take pride in rock climbing.
